Role Summary
The Senior Delivery Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of digital services and programmes. Operating at SFIA Level 5, this role requires an experienced delivery skilled capable of owning complex workstreams, managing cross-functional teams and providing assurance to senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will be expected to plan,
direct and evaluate delivery activities, managing risks and dependencies across multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced government environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of complex digital programmes and projects, ensuring alignment to government standards including the GDS Service Standard and Cabinet Office spend controls
- Own and maintain delivery plans, risk registers, issue logs and dependency maps across multiple concurrent workstreams
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, showcases) and coach teams in Agile and Lean delivery practices
- Provide delivery assurance to senior stakeholders, producing clear and accurate progress reports and escalating risks in a timely manner
- Manage relationships with senior stakeholders across BSR, MHCLG and delivery partners, acting as the primary point of contact for delivery matters
