Job Description – Quality Engineer

Position: Quality Engineer
Department: IMI
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 + OT
Experience: 2–3 Years
Qualification: Diploma – Mechanical / Automobile

Key Responsibilities (KRA)
- Knowledge of instruments and measuring equipment used for inspection.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform PDIR (Product/Process Dimensional Inspection Report) activities.
- Conduct Layout Inspection as per drawings and required specifications.
- Prepare and analyze Pareto Charts for quality-related issues.
- Apply 7 QC Tools for problem identification and quality improvement.
- Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation.




- Identify quality issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Production and other departments to resolve quality-related problems.

Required Skills & Knowledge
- Good knowledge of inspection instruments and gauges.
- Good engineering drawing reading skills.
- Knowledge of PDIR and Layout Inspection.
- Practical knowledge of Pareto Chart and 7 QC Tools.
- Valuable computer skills, including MS Excel.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
