We are looking for a motivated Business Development Intern who is interested in gaining practical experience in ERP software, business development, lead management, sales, and client interactions.
The intern will work closely with the Operations Manager and Business Development team, gaining hands-on exposure to the complete sales process — from lead qualification and follow-up to product demonstrations and sales pitching.
This is a learning-focused role where you will get real-world experience in B2B software sales and ERP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Operations Manager and Business Development team in managing and following up on sales leads.
- Review and qualify incoming leads based on business requirements and potential.
- Contact prospective clients and understand their business needs.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating ERP product demonstrations.
- Participate in ERP product demos and sales presentations.
- Learn and assist with sales pitching and client communication.
- Follow up with prospects after demos and maintain regular communication.
- Update and maintain lead information, follow-ups, and sales activities in the CRM/ERP system.
- Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, presentations, and other sales-related documents.
- Research prospective companies and identify potential business opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand client requirements and ensure proper follow-up.
- Observe and learn the complete B2B sales cycle, from lead generation to conversion.
- Support the Operations Manager with day-to-day business development and operational activities.
