General Summary:
- This engineering position provides an opportunity to work closely with leading wireless operators, infrastructure vendors and RD Teams on cutting-edge wireless technologies such as 6G/5G/5G-Advanced/LTE
- Responsibilities include 5G/5G-Adv/LTE systems performance characterization and optimization, debugging support, demos and over the air (OTA) field trials of new features
- Further responsibilities include working with the network equipment provider to resolve any inter-operability issues, evaluate system performance including coverage, capacity and mobility on the OTA network
- Additional areas of responsibility include design, optimization, capacity estimation and management, debugging of air-interface and core-network issues, system parameter recommendations, participating in current technology inter-operability tests and field trials in conjunction with RD teams, lab performance studies, authoring white-papers and documents on new wireless technologies and standards
- The candidate should have an academic background in digital communications,



wireless and computer communication networks
- Candidate should also have expertise in machine learning to support extraction of key value from logs/data collected
- You will be part or lead the processes from data collection, filtering, and preprocessing, to training the models and deploying them to production and use
- Therefore, the ideal candidate will be passionate about artificial intelligence and stay up to date with the latest developments in the field
- The successful candidate should have the ability to understand detailed technical design, implementation and issues related to 5G/5G-Adv/LTE technologies. The candidate should be able to provide onsite support to mobile operators worldwide to help roll out and enhance their 5G/5G-Adv/LTE networks.
