Job Title: Design Engineer Auxiliary Systems

Department: ECI Systems Plant Integration Auxiliary System Engineering (Balance of Plant)

Functional Line Report: Team Lead

Job Purpose: Carry out assigned tasks independently including design, engineering documentation, estimating and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Review the Scope of work from the Contracts / Order book of respective systems initiating deviation queries / clarifications
- Preparation of Basic Design calculation for respective systems.
- Preparation of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Schematic Diagrams and Piping Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs) as applicable for the project using necessary Software tools.
- Preparation of Technical specifications for the Bought out equipment based on performed design calculations.
- Releasing of Bought out indent with Technical Delivery Conditions to Purchase department
- Conducting Offer evaluations for various bought out items received from Purchase department.
- Verification of Purchase orders for the bought outs released by Purchase department




- Review of Vendor drawings / Design calculations / Data sheets and other documents received after ordering.
- Preparation of applicable design input drawings for various departments like Electrical, 3D Plant design, Civil etc., Preparation of As Built drawings, Operation and Maintenance manual, Hazop risk assessment studies.
- Resolving the site feed backs and queries from other departments and taking corrective actions, updating in the file for continual improvement
- Guiding the design engineers with the design knowledge as and when necessary
