Job Description: Sales Engineer Lubricants & Grease

Job Summary

The Sales Engineer will play a key role in driving technical sales, product demonstration, and customer support for our portfolio of industrial lubricants and greases. The role bridges technical performance with commercial success, requiring close interaction with R&D;, Sales teams, and key industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lubrication engineering, tribology, and grease technology, and be capable of providing in office application support, conducting field trials, and converting customer needs into actionable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Application & Support
- Supervise and support on-site application of lubricants and greases across various equipment (bearings, gears, hydraulics, motors, compressors, etc.)
- Conduct lubrication audits, viscosity testing, oil analysis interpretation, and grease compatibility testing as required.
- Provide technical troubleshooting at customer locations (e.g., overheating, premature bearing failure, leakage)



and document findings.
- Recommend appropriate lubricant/grease selection based on operating conditions (temperature, load, speed, environment).

2. Customer Engagement & Selling Support
- Partner with sales teams to present technical capabilities, product benefits, and ROI calculations to clients, maintenance heads, and procurement teams.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals, product data sheets, TDS/SDS, and application protocols for lubricants and greases.
- Deliver presentations, product demos, field trials, and training to customers, distributors, and equipment operators.
- Actively participate in pre-sales and post-sales support, enhancing customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
- Conduct lubrication training sessions for customer maintenance teams on best practices.
