Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our QA team. The candidate will be responsible for performing manual testing, preparing and executing test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and supporting automation activities using Java and Selenium.
Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Create and execute test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira.
- Perform defect retesting and regression testing after fixes.
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement discussions, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Perform basic API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Develop and maintain basic web automation scripts using Java and Selenium.
- Maintain test data and testing documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to identify and resolve issues.
- Contribute to improving testing processes and overall product quality.
