Job Roles & Responsibilities

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting activities related to construction projects and ensuring accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily accounting transactions in Tally Prime/ERP.
- Maintain purchase, sales, cash, bank, and journal vouchers.
- Process vendor, supplier, and subcontractor invoices and payments.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Manage petty cash and maintain site expense records.
- Verify purchase orders, Goods Received Notes (GRNs), delivery challans, and invoices.
- Coordinate with site engineers, storekeepers, and project managers regarding material purchases and billing.
- Prepare contractor and subcontractor bills and ensure timely payments.
- Maintain records of construction materials, equipment expenses, and project-related costs.
- Assist with GST calculations, return preparation, TDS, and statutory compliance.




- Prepare monthly MIS reports, project cost reports, and financial statements.
- Support payroll processing for site staff and labour payments, where applicable.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records for audit purposes.
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
- Perform any other accounting or administrative responsibilities assigned by the Finance Manager.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and bookkeeping
- Robust numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction site environment

Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month
