Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Immigration Attorney (BigLaw Firms) to work on a contract basis. The role involves advising multinational corporations, financial institutions, and high-net-worth individuals on complex immigration matters. Responsibilities include preparing and filing petitions, managing compliance, and representing clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, and EB-1 categories.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on immigration regulations, policies, and case law.
• Manage client communications, including advising on immigration strategies and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with federal immigration laws and internal client policies.
• Represent clients in administrative proceedings, interviews, and audits before government agencies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Admission to a U.S. state bar and active license to practice immigration law.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in BigLaw immigration practice, with a focus on corporate immigration.
• Experience handling high-volume caseloads for Fortune 500 clients and multinational corporations.
• Proficiency in preparing complex immigration filings and supporting documentation.
• Robust understanding of PERM labor certification, I-140 petitions, and adjustment of status processes.
