Responsibilities :
- Manage end-to-end domestic logistics operations for plant dispatches including vehicle placement, route planning, and delivery execution
- Coordinate closely with Plant, MKTG/Sales, Planning, and Finance teams to ensure timely dispatch and billing
- Handle transporter/vendor management, including rate negotiation, performance monitoring, and issue resolution
- Finalize and manage annual rate contracts with transporters for Full Truck Load (FTL), Part Truck Load (PTL/LTL), and Courier services on a PAN India basis
- Ensure competitive pricing and service level agreements (SLAs) while finalizing contracts
- Ensure timely dispatch planning as per production schedule and customer priority
- Monitor freight cost, budget adherence, and drive cost optimization initiatives
- Oversee billing accuracy, freight verification, and timely vendor payments




- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (E-way bill, POD, documentation, GST norms)
- Track shipment movement, TAT (turnaround time), and delivery performance
- Manage escalations related to delays, damages, shortages, and drive quick resolution
- Maintain and update Superprocure/ERP/CRM systems with accurate shipment and cost data
- Drive process improvements, automation, and reporting (MIS, dashboards)
- Support audits and ensure process compliance and documentation control
