Job Description: Land Officer (Assistant Manager / Manager)

Department: Land Acquisition & Development
Reporting To: Manager / Sr. Manager - Land

Experience: 6 - 10 Years
Qualification: Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline

Job Purpose

Responsible for land acquisition, documentation, site assessment, government liaison, land development coordination, and maintaining accurate land records and transaction documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and acquire land as per project requirements.
- Conduct land due diligence, title/document verification, registration, mutation, and record maintenance.
- Coordinate with landowners, brokers, government authorities, Gram Panchayat, Sarpanch, and local stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections, land measurements, boundary verification, and encroachment checks.
- Prepare and maintain land acquisition trackers, deal logs, MIS, and transaction records.
- Coordinate with legal, engineering, finance, survey, GIS, and project teams.
- Prepare/review land layouts, site plans,



and land allocation drawings using AutoCAD.
- Support GIS-based land mapping and development planning.
- Assist in land-related agreements, negotiations, dispute resolution, and statutory approvals.
- Monitor land development activities, timelines, and project requirements.
- Identify acquisition risks and provide timely solutions and management updates.

Qualification & Skills
- 6 - 10 years of hands-on land acquisition experience is mandatory.
- Robust knowledge of land records, documentation, registration, and acquisition processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of GIS and land surveying will be preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Positive understanding of government/local authority processes.
- Robust analytical, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
