The Vice President of Engineering will lead the engineering organization, setting technical vision and driving execution across all product lines in a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role oversees software development teams, ensures high-quality delivery of scalable HR Tech products, and collaborates closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to align technology initiatives with company goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding engineering managers and team leads, optimizing development processes, establishing best practices for architecture and code quality, and ensuring timely delivery of projects. The Vice President of Engineering will also be responsible for resource planning, mentoring talent, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture, and contributing to long-term product and platform strategy.

Qualifications
- Strong Engineering Management and Team Leadership skills for guiding high-performing, cross-functional engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience in Software Development, including modern architectures, scalable systems,



and cloud-native applications.
- Proficiency in Project Management, with a proven ability to prioritize, manage timelines, and deliver complex initiatives at scale.
- Background in Product Development, collaborating with product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Extensive experience in building and leading engineering organizations within SaaS or technology-first companies.
- Demonstrated ability to define and implement engineering best practices, including CI/CD, testing, security, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and geographies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
