- Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities including loading, unloading, sorting, scanning, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Allocate work to warehouse staff according to daily operational requirements.
- Monitor employee productivity and ensure work is completed within defined TAT.
- Coordinate with warehouse, transport, and traffic teams for smooth vehicle movement and dispatch operations.
- Ensure proper handling and movement of materials to prevent damage or loss.
- Monitor inward and outward shipments and ensure proper documentation.
- Ensure proper stacking and storage of materials as per warehouse guidelines.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report shortages, excesses, or discrepancies.
- Maintain discipline and ensure adherence to warehouse SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards on the warehouse floor.
- Track attendance and manpower deployment.
- Prepare and share daily operational reports with the Warehouse Manager.
- Resolve operational issues and escalate major concerns to management.
- Train and guide warehouse staff on processes, safety, and productivity.
- Coordinate with the system/MIS team for timely data updates and reporting.
