JOB DESCRIPTION FOR ENGINEER PROPOSALS (MECHANICAL)

Job Title: Engineer Proposals (Mechanical)
Experience: 4 to 6 years.
Qualifications: B.E. Mechanical/DME.
Requirements: Experience in mechanical industry/ Construction / EPC industry is a must. Must possess a valid passport. Willingness to travel to sites / client offices in India as well as abroad is a must.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Detailed study of tender documents, contract conditions, specifications and drawings.
- Preparing BOQs, methodology, rate Analysis, direct cost, indirect cost, technical and commercial deviations, etc., for different projects / tenders for bidding purpose.
- Estimation, costing & bidding / tendering for all types of projects like Item Rate, Lump sum, Cost Plus, EPC / Turnkey, etc. Preparation of techno- commercial proposals with contract conditions, Bill of Quantities and technical specifications of Turnkey / EPC Industrial Projects.




- Making proposals and bidding / quoting tenders for all kind of projects. Handling techno commercial correspondence during entire tendering process and up to finalization of contract.
- Attending meetings with clients/consultants at pre-bid and post-bid stages.
- Site survey / investigation for different aspects before quoting tenders.
- Budgeting based on estimates & contract with clients.
- Basic project planning & scheduling.
- Good communication skills verbal & written English
- Valuable interpersonal communication
- Should be a good team player
- Providing throughout support / information to execution team during execution of awarded projects for smooth functioning.
- Knowledge of estimation of civil work & electrical, instrumentation will be an added advantage.
