Role Description
This is a full-time, Quality Assurance Automation Engineer role based in PAN-INDIA (Remote). The QA Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web and backend applications. Responsibilities include creating and executing test cases, performing manual and automated testing, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality. The role involves reviewing requirements and specifications for testability, contributing to test strategy and planning, and improving QA processes and tooling. The engineer will also analyze test results, track quality metrics, support release cycles, and mentor junior QA team members.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, including test design, test planning, and defect management.
- Hands-on experience creating and executing automated Test Cases, both functional and non-functional,



aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Proficiency in Automation Testing.
- Solid experience in
Selenium+Java and Playwright+Typescript
, including building and maintaining automated test suites using common automation frameworks and tools.
- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail or similar) and CI/CD integration of test automation.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies, and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with
API testing(Postman, Rest Assured)
, performance testing, and scripting/programming (e.g.,
Java and JavaScript
).
