Detailing Mechanical Designer Boiler Revamp & Retrofit Projects
- We are seeking a skilled Detailing Mechanical Designer to support the Pre & Post order revamp and retrofit of CFBC, AFBC, WHRB, TG and PC-fired boilers.
- The candidate will be responsible for preparing GA, layout & fabrication-ready drawings for pressure parts, non-pressure parts, piping, and support structures based on modified layouts and design requirements.
- Drawing review & checking.
- Candidate will be responsible for pre order estimation/ME/BOQ/ and feasibility check/study for various revamp enquiry.
- The role involves periodic site visits for reverse engineering, as-built data collection, and interface verification with existing installations.
- The engineer will ensure that all detailing work reflects site constraints and is coordinated across process, structural, and erection teams.
- A robust understanding of boiler components, fabrication practices is essential.
- The candidate must be proactive in managing drawing revisions, integrating site feedback, and ensuring quality and accuracy in deliverables.
- Tool – Auto Cad, Excel, 3D modelling software (Tekla, Component modelling etc.)
