Audit & Tax Assistant – CA Firm | Bangalore

We are looking for an Audit & Tax Assistant to join our Chartered Accountancy firm in Bangalore.

The candidate will work closely with our team across Accounting, Income Tax, GST, TDS, Tax Audits and other statutory/compliance assignments. The role is suitable for candidates who are looking to gain strong practical exposure across taxation, audit and accounting.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, companies and other assessees.
- Assist in Tax Audit assignments, including preparation of schedules, reconciliations and supporting workings.
- Handle accounting and bookkeeping assignments for clients.
- Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns and related compliances.
- Assist in TDS compliances and return filings.
- Work on reconciliations, ledger scrutiny and preparation of financial information required for audit and tax assignments.
- Work with various Government portals including Income Tax, GST, TDS and MCA.
- Coordinate with clients for collection of information,



documents and clarification of accounts.
- Support the team in other audit, taxation, accounting and statutory compliance assignments.

Qualification

Candidates with any of the following backgrounds may apply:
- B.Com – completed or pursuing
- CA students who have completed their Articleship and are pursuing CA Final
- Candidates pursuing other relevant professional courses with practical exposure to accounting, taxation or audit

Skills & Experience

The candidate should preferably have:
- Valuable working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of Tally
- Familiarity with Government portals such as:
- Income Tax
- GST
- TDS
- MCA
- Practical understanding of Accounting, Taxation and Audit
- Familiarity with the Income Tax portal and Income Tax Return filing process will be an added advantage.
