Site Head & Head Environment Management
Position Purpose
The Environment Head at Site is responsible for leading the team towards implementing environmental management system which includes activities such as operations of MEE/RKI/ETP, RO and environmental compliances at site.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Head the site for implementing environment management system and ensure compliance with environmental regulations/standards
- Formulate cost saving strategies for reducing waste disposal costs
- Implement recent environmental initiatives
Operational Responsibilities
- Implement initiatives taken for improvement in Environment Management Systems, cost and people improvements
- Ensure compliance towards Environmental management at site
- Monitor day to day of environment related issues
- Identify legal requirements and ensure compliance
- Provide technical solutions for odour fugitive emission minimization
- Coordinate towards the external interface of Environment Management including applications, statement, Environmental audits etc.
- Provide latest environment management updates to all other departments at site
- Provide trainings on environmental awareness and preparedness
- Maintain expenses related to ETP and waste disposal as per the approved revenue budget
- Implement the cost saving initiatives in the areas of EHS
- Preparing monthly compliance reports
- Prepare EHS related MIS Reports
- Investigate Environment incidents
- Assist MR of EHS system for Implementation

- Ensure safety & high productivity at the workplace
- Facilitate initiatives for training need identification and building requisite skills & competencies through systematic training & skill-upgradation initiatives for the team
- Actively drive, in conjunction with the Senior
