We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Lab Technician to join our hospital team in Nellore. The candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, handling samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, receive, label, and process patient samples such as blood, urine, and other specimens.
- Perform routine laboratory tests accurately as per standard procedures.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Ensure proper sample handling, storage, and disposal.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and test reports.
- Follow laboratory safety, hygiene, and quality-control procedures.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff regarding laboratory requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the laboratory.
- Ensure timely processing and reporting of test results.
Qualification
- DMLT / MLT / B.Sc. MLT
- 1- 2 years of relevant laboratory experience preferred.
- Hospital or diagnostic laboratory experience will be an advantage.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of laboratory procedures and sample handling.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and diagnostic tests.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, if required.
