1. Role Purpose
To own the entire accounting, financial reporting, taxation and compliance function of the family office and every entity within the family's structure operating companies, holding companies, LLPs, private trusts, HUFs, investment vehicles, real estate SPVs and philanthropic entities and to give the principal a single, reliable, consolidated view of the family's financial position at any point in time.
This is a control and stewardship role, not a transaction-processing role. The person is expected to be the family's most trusted financial custodian: accurate, discreet,



and able to say no or not yet to the Principal when the numbers require it.
2. Key Accountabilities
2.1 Books, Consolidation & Reporting
Own the books of account of all group and family entities, maintained on a common chart of accounts and a single accounting system.
Deliver a monthly consolidated family balance sheet, income statement and cash flow across entities, asset classes and jurisdictions, on a fixed calendar.
¢ Produce a monthly MIS pack for the Principal covering net worth movement, entity-wise performance, liquidity position, receivables/payables ageing, capital commitments and drawdowns.
¢ Maintain look-through consolidation across trusts, holding entities and investment vehicles so that beneficial exposure not just legal ownership is visible.
¢ Close the books within an agreed number of working days each month, and eliminate the practice of year-end catch-up accounting.
