Job Title: -Assistant/Deputy Engineer - Electrical Maintenance

Job Description:-

We are looking for a Assistant/Deputy Engineer Electrical Power Distribution to oversee the operation, maintenance, and supervision of electrical power distribution systems. The role involves ensuring protected, reliable, and uninterrupted power supply, attending electrical faults and breakdowns, coordinating maintenance activities, and supporting system improvement and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:-

Technical & Operational
- Operate and maintain 132 kV / 33 kV substations, feeders, transformers, and HT/LT distribution networks.
- Monitor load flow, voltage levels, power consumption, and system losses.
- Analyze and attend power outages, electrical breakdowns, and faults to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Identify opportunities for improving system reliability and reducing electrical losses.
- Support new electrical connections, network extensions, modifications, and system upgrades.




- Carry out troubleshooting and fault finding in HT/LT electrical systems.

Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, SOPs, and applicable regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections, toolbox talks, and permit-to-work activities.
- Ensure safe working practices during electrical maintenance and emergency activities.
- Investigate electrical incidents/accidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Project & Execution Support
- Assist in the estimation, execution, testing, and commissioning of electrical works.
- Supervise contractors and vendors to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion.
- Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, material specifications, and site execution.
- Coordinate with internal departments for electrical project and maintenance requirements.
