Key Responsibilities
- Handle sea freight pricing for FCL, LCL, and special cargo shipments.
- Obtain competitive rates from shipping lines, NVOCCs, and overseas agents.
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations for customers.
- Negotiate freight rates with carriers.
- Co-ordinate with overseas agents for export pricing.
- Maintain carrier tariffs and update rate sheets.
- Monitor market freight trends and carrier updates.
- Ensure timely response to spot enquiries.
- Co-ordinate with Operations for shipment execution.
- Build and maintain good relationships with carriers and vendors.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of FCL/LCL pricing and shipping documentation.
- Experience in dealing with shipping lines, NVOCCs, and overseas agents.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping processes.
- Positive communication, negotiation, and co-ordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
