*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with 1–3 years of experience to join our Architecture & Design firm. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Tally Prime and GST compliance, with a specific focus on project-costing and milestone-based billing. We value a professional who is not only a master of traditional accounting but also highly motivated to learn and implement new accounting methodologies and digital tools.

*Key Responsibilities:*
- Project Accounting: Track financial health for individual design projects, including monitoring budgets, billable hours, and project-specific expenses.
- Milestone Billing: Generate and manage invoices based on project phases (e.g., schematic design, construction documentation) and handle client follow-ups.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST (GSTR-1, 3B) and TDS returns, and manage reconciliation with the GST portal.
- Vendor & Consultant Management: Process payments and reconcile ledgers for sub-consultants (e.g., structural engineers, landscape architects) and material suppliers.




- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports for management review.
- Continuous Learning: Proactively adapt to new accounting software (such as QuickBooks or Zoho Books) and automated time-tracking tools to improve firm efficiency.

*Qualifications & Skills:*
- Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience in accounting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B. Com) or Finance.
- Software: Advanced proficiency in Tally ERP 9/Tally Prime and MS Excel. Familiarity with cloud accounting is a plus.
- Core Skills: Strong understanding of project costing, revenue recognition, and Indian taxation laws (GST/TDS).
- Mindset: A strong desire to "unlearn" outdated practices and embrace up-to-date digital workflows.
