About ZECODE:
ZECODE is a youth-focused fashion brand from the house of Siyarams, created for the new generation with a solid focus on trend-forward fashion, fresh drops, international trends and accessible pricing.
Role Purpose:
We are looking for a fashion-forward Women’s Western Wear Buyer who understands Gen Z fashion, identifies emerging trends early and builds a commercially strong product assortment.
The ideal candidate should combine fashion instinct + market understanding + commercial buying skills to deliver the right product, at the right price, at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Own the buying strategy for Women’s Western Wear across tops, dresses, shirts, skirts, trousers, denims, co-ords, jumpsuits and other relevant categories.
2) Identify international and Indian fashion trends relevant to Gen Z consumers.
3) Track fashion trends through social media, influencers, fashion platforms, competitors and international markets.
4) Develop weekly/monthly fresh-drop plans based on emerging trends and customer demand.
5)
Build the right product mix across fashion, basics, core and trend-led merchandise.
6) Select products based on design, fabric, colour, silhouette, fit, price and commercial potential.
7) Develop and maintain a strong vendor/supplier network for women’s western wear.
8) Negotiate product cost, MOQ, lead time, quality and delivery with vendors.
9) Work closely with the design, sourcing, merchandising, production and retail teams.
10) Analyse sales, sell-through, stock cover, WOS, ageing and category performance.
11) Identify fast movers and slow movers and take corrective buying actions.
12) Ensure the assortment delivers the right fashion at the right price point.
13) Plan seasonal collections as well as quick-response fashion drops.
14) Monitor competitor pricing, product launches, promotions and fashion direction.
15) Ensure products meet ZECODE’s standards for quality, fit, fabric, color, and sizing and wear ability.
