Role & responsibilities

This is a dual role. You will own the day-to-day accounting of the business and directly support the Director on coordination, travel, and administration.

Accounts and compliance, approximately 60 percent of the role:
- Daily entry and upkeep of books in TallyPrime covering sales, purchase, expense, journal, and bank vouchers
- Preparing and issuing GST-compliant sales invoices, and maintaining e-invoicing and e-way bill records
- Monthly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B data preparation and GSTR-2B reconciliation, coordinating filings with our Chartered Accountant
- TDS data preparation, challan tracking, and quarterly return coordination with the CA
- Checking vendor invoices against work orders and delivery records, and preparing payment sheets for approval
- Bank reconciliation and upkeep of vendor, advance, and retention registers
- Maintaining an organised and retrievable document trail across all of the above

Executive assistance and administration, approximately 40 percent:
- Managing the Director's calendar, meetings, and follow-ups




- End to end travel arrangements including flights, trains, hotels, cabs, and outstation site visits
- Scheduling and coordinating calls with clients, vendors, bankers, and skilled advisors
- Day to day administration of the Connaught Place office, including vendor and service provider coordination
- Periodic accounting and administrative support for group entities

*This is a work-from-office role, Monday to Saturday, at our Connaught Place office.*

Preferred candidate profile
- 3 to 6 years of experience in accounts and administration, preferably with an SME, a CA firm, or a promoter-led business.
- B.Com or equivalent. M.Com or MBA in Finance is a plus
- Candidates who have completed CA Intermediate or CA articleship, whether or not they continued with the course, are strongly encouraged to apply
