Job Title: Jr. Design Engineer

Report to : Design Head

Job Purpose/Objectives:

Be responsible for day-to-day Engineering activity and grow the business while being responsible for Handover

Projects. This includes effective delivery, cost, quality, safety and work setting.

Principal Responsibility :

• Ensure that designs are delivered on time

Ensure that designs are completed in pre defined Man hours.

•Ensure that all designs are checked through check sheets.

•Accurate and timely filling of man-hours in the software.

• Wholehearted participation in TLC activities.

• Handson experience in Microsoft office.

• Attend training sessions to develop competency.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Behavior:

• Graduate in Diploma/BE Engineering in Mechanical.





• Min 1-2 yr experience in the field of designing of process equipments like- boilers,

Pressure Vessels exchangers, steel structure, piping, ducts etc.

•

Basic fundamentals of thermodynamics, heat transfer, structural analysis, piping analysis,

• Fluid dynamics metallurgy, instrumentation and control, electrical etc.

•

Basic experience of IBR, non-IBR calculations, Purchase specification, Thermal design, P & ID, AUTOCAD

• Basic understanding of various codes- IBR/ASME sec 1/ ASME sec VIII/ IS 800/ BS31.1

• Have skill to work in team and guide team members.
