Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced lawyer with experience in document drafting, quality control, and registration processes across Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in preparing and vetting property-related legal instruments and a working understanding of Sub-Registrar Office (SRO) procedures.

Key Responsibilities




- Draft and review property-related legal documents including MODTD (Memorandum of Deposit of Title Deeds), Receipt Deeds, Lease Deeds, and other property instruments as required.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of presence-less document registrations in Tamil Nadu while conducting QC to ensure full compliance with applicable state laws and Registration Act requirements.
- Conduct Quality Control (QC) checks on drafts prepared by junior drafters, identifying and correcting legal, factual, and procedural errors before submission.
- Support in the drafting of documents as and when required, based on business needs.
- Coordinate with Sub-Registrar Offices (SROs) for document registration, verification, and resolution of queries or discrepancies.
- Stay updated on Tamil Nadu registration rules, stamp duty regulations, and related statutory changes.
