Role & responsibilities
- Investment Origination: - Source high-quality lending opportunities through corporates, promoters, NBFCs, banks, financial institutions, intermediaries, and strategic partners. - Build and nurture long-term relationships with founders, CFOs, treasury teams, family offices, and institutional participants. - Develop sector-specific deal pipelines aligned with the fund's investment strategy. - Evaluate proprietary opportunities across working capital finance, structured debt, invoice financing, and asset-backed lending.
- Credit Evaluation & Underwriting: Lead end-to-end evaluation of investment opportunities by: - Analysing financial statements and management information systems (MIS) - Assessing cash flows and debt servicing capacity - Evaluating working capital cycles and liquidity profiles - Reviewing promoter strength, governance, and management quality - Conducting industry, market,



and competitive analysis - Assessing collateral coverage and security enforceability - Performing downside risk and sensitivity analysis - Identifying key credit risks and mitigation strategies Prepare comprehensive Investment Committee (IC) memorandums with transparent investment recommendations.
- Transaction Structuring: Design and negotiate financing solutions across: - Private Credit - Invoice Discounting - Supply Chain Finance - Structured Debt - Asset-Backed Lending - Working Capital Financing - Special Situation Opportunities Determine appropriate: - Pricing - Security structure - Covenants - Guarantees - Repayment mechanisms - Monitoring framework - Exit strategy Collaborate with legal advisors to ensure robust transaction documentation and enforceable security structures.
- Due Diligence & Execution: - Coordinate financial, legal, operational, and commercial due diligence. - Engage with external advisors, auditors, valuers, and legal counsel. - Review diligence findings and identify key transaction risks. - Drive execution from term sheet to documentation
