Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, security, and performance of our SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, developing automated test solutions, and leveraging AI-powered testing tools to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and defect detection.

You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps Engineers, and Customer Success teams to deliver high-quality software releases in an Agile workplace.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs to define effective test strategies and test plans.
- Design, execute, review, and maintain manual and automated test cases covering functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory, end-to-end, API, database, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, prioritize, track, and validate defects; perform defect triage, root-cause analysis,



and regression impact analysis.
- Develop and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks and reusable, data-driven test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent tools.
- Integrate UI and API automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and continuously improve automation coverage, stability, and execution efficiency.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, DevOps/SRE, Support teams, and clients throughout the SDLC.
- Provide QA estimates, test execution status, defect metrics, quality risks, and release-readiness reports.
- Support production issue investigation, customer-reported defect analysis, release validation, and production verification.
- Perform basic performance testing to validate response time, throughput, concurrency, error rates, and potential bottlenecks.
