Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS).
- Configure and customize Sterling OMS workflows, services, agents, and transaction rules.
- Develop custom APIs, user exits, and extensions using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Integrate Sterling OMS with upstream and downstream systems such as ERP, WMS, CRM, e-commerce platforms, and third-party applications.
- Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues.
- Optimize OMS performance and ensure system scalability and reliability.
- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in software development.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling OMS.
- Solid programming experience in Java/J2EE.
- Experience with:
- Spring Framework / Spring Boot
- JMS
- XML, XSLT, XPath
- REST APIs
- SOAP Web Services
- SQL and Database Development
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
