Department: Captive Power Plant (CPP) Control & Instrumentation
Reporting To: Department HOD
Experience: 3-6 Years
Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical & Instrumentation
Industry Preference: Integrated Steel Plant / Captive Power Plant / Thermal Power Plant

Job Purpose
To carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of all Control & Instrumentation systems in the Captive Power Plant to ensure protected, reliable and uninterrupted plant operation.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of field instruments.
- Maintain transmitters, gauges, switches, analyzers and control valves.
- Assist in maintenance of DCS, PLC, SCADA and HMI systems.
- Perform loop checking, calibration and commissioning activities.




- Troubleshoot instrumentation faults and rectify defects.
- Maintain calibration records and maintenance logbooks.
- Support shutdown and annual maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, LOTO and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with Operations, Mechanical and Electrical departments.
- Maintain housekeeping and proper care of tools and instruments.
