- Implement and monitor Work permit system. Coordinate with CFT for evaluating risks.
- Responsible for Accident/Incident reporting and investigation, facilitate preventive actions.
- Routine inspection of work place to identify unsafe acts/conditions and inform to the concerned department for immediate rectification of the same.
- Responsible for plant safety inspections.
- Responsible for smooth functioning of Fire Hydrant System. Maintenance and Servicing of Fire Extinguisher and documentation.
- Assist SH Head for implementation of SH related policies and procedures to meet SH objective and Targets. Well versed with ISO management systems.
- Preparation and review of SH & other CFT department SOPs.
- Responsible for Industrial Hygiene plan/activities.
- Responsible for implementing PPE programme. Selection, issuance, training etc.
- Responsible for Effluent treatment and reuse of treated water. Monitoring of Effluent Treatment plant and ETP Lab.




- Carrying Hazard identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA, PSSR, JSA, HAZOP Etc).
- Maintaining records as per statutory requirements related to Safety and Setting.
- Coordinating with functional departments for implementation of On-Site Emergency action plan.
- Responsible for preparing annual SHE annual training calendar and conducting the class room training as well as through CLS.
- Conducting and participating Safety committee meetings, preparing MOM, tracking action items and follow up with cross functional teams.
- Conduct safety audits, prepare preventive actions, tracking/analysis and preparation of audit reports.
- Change control review and assessments.
- Responsible for tracking and maintaining legal register.
- Exposure to standards such as PSCI/NBCS
- Preparation of monthly reports, trend analysis etc
