Site Engineer (Civil) – Job Description

Position: Site Engineer – Civil
Department: Civil / Construction
Employment Type: Full time
Experience: Freshers / 3+ Years – depending on vacancy

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and workers.
- Check measurements, levels, alignment, and dimensions of construction works.
- Prepare and maintain daily site reports, work progress reports, and material records.
- Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and project schedules.
- Ensure proper execution of RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, finishing, and other civil works.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned team for timely resolution.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
- Assist with quantity calculations, material estimation, and billing measurements.




- Monitor project progress and report delays or technical issues to management.
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings, measurements, inspections, and site records.

Qualifications
- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Good knowledge of construction methods and site practices.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites.
