We are looking for a Data Analyst Intern to support the MIS and reporting team in collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data. The intern will work with different departments to prepare reports, build dashboards, identify trends, and provide data-driven insights to support business decisions.
This role is suitable for someone who wants practical exposure to Excel, Power BI, data analysis, MIS reporting, and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
1. Collect, consolidate, and organize data from different departments and sources.
2. Clean and validate data by identifying missing, duplicate, inconsistent, or incorrect entries.
3. Maintain and update Excel and Google Sheets trackers and databases.
4. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
5. Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, variances, and performance gaps.
6. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
7. Create meaningful charts, KPIs, and visualizations to present business performance.

Assist in preparing department-wise performance dashboards for management review.
9. Use Excel formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and other analytical tools for data preparation and analysis.
10. Support data consolidation from multiple sources for reporting and dashboard development.
11. Assist in tracking important business KPIs and comparing actual performance against targets.
12. Support ad-hoc data analysis and reporting requirements from different departments.

Required Skills
1. Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
2. Basic to intermediate knowledge of Excel formulas, Pivot Tables, and data analysis.
3. Basic knowledge of Power BI and dashboard creation.
4. Understanding of data cleaning, validation, and visualization.
5. Basic understanding of KPIs, trends, and business performance analysis.
6. Good attention to detail and data accuracy.
7. Ability to work with large datasets.
8. Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
