Role & responsibilities

On-Premises Infrastructure Architecture (5+ Years):

- Architect and design large-scale on-premises infrastructure platforms including compute, storage, and networking
- Design data center architectures with focus on high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity
- Create virtualization strategies using VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or KVM for enterprise workloads
- Design storage area networks (SAN), network-attached storage (NAS), and software-defined storage solutions
- Architect bare-metal server deployments and converged/hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI)
- Design on-premises network architectures: core, distribution, and access layer configurations
- Implement infrastructure automation for on-premises environments using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Plan and support data center migrations, consolidations, and modernization initiatives

* Provisioning Confluent Kafka clusters, MDS clusters and Control Center nodes




* Provisioning Oracle API Gateway

Preferred candidate profile

* Robust hands-on shell scripting and linux commands * Strong skills in Linux shell scripting (Bash/Python), networking basics, system monitoring, troubleshooting techniques with debugging tools/commands and automating tasks. * Ansible skills including Playbook Development using modules for tasks, handling errors, and structuring projects with roles. * Experience in SSL certificate management * Experience managing storage solutions (SAN, NAS) and database technologies. * Experience Implementing security protocols to harden infrastructure, along with using monitoring tools like Splunk, Splunk observability cloud (SignalFx), Prometheus or Grfana. * Experience using Jfrog, Nexus & Github. * Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology. * Skills for prioritizing tasks and managing infrastructure projects to meet deadlines.
