Hiring: Senior BI Migration Engineers | Power BI Looker / Qlik

We are looking for multiple strong Senior BI Migration Engineers for an exciting enterprise BI transformation program with a leading US Telecom Carrier.

Location: Pune | Hybrid

Engagement: Contract / Contract-to-Hire

Domain: Telecom BSS / Operational Reporting

About the Opportunity

Our client is consolidating its enterprise BI landscape from six platforms to two strategic platforms Looker and Qlik.

The program involves the migration and rationalization of approximately 4,000 Power BI reports supporting nearly 600 business users across Customer, Product, Revenue, and Usage domains.

This is a high-visibility, large-scale BI transformation program involving Power BI decommissioning, report rationalization, semantic-layer development, KPI reconciliation, migration, validation, and business adoption.

Key Skills Required

8+ years of BI / Analytics Engineering experience

3+ years of hands-on Power BI experience

Solid DAX, Power Query, Tabular Models, RLS, Workspaces & Gateways





2+ years of hands-on Looker / LookML experience

Working knowledge of Qlik Sense

Strong SQL and experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Teradata or Redshift

Experience with LookML, Explores, Views, PDTs, Liquid & Access Grants

Qlik Load Scripts, Data Modeling, Set Analysis & Section Access

Python / PowerShell for automation and BI metadata extraction

Power BI REST API / Scanner API experience

GitHub / GitLab and CI/CD

Data validation and reconciliation using dbt, Great Expectations or equivalent

Experience with large-scale BI migration / consolidation / decommissioning programs

Strong stakeholder management and business-facing communication

Highly Preferred

Telecom BSS experience — Billing, Revenue, Customer, Product, Usage / Mediation

Experience translating DAX LookML / SQL

Looker, Qlik or Microsoft certifications

Experience with enterprise migration wave planning and effort estimation
