Job Summary

The Depot Operations Intern will support day-to-day depot activities including stock handling, inward and outward operations, order processing, documentation, system updates, and coordination with internal teams and transport partners. The role is suitable for a candidate who is willing to learn warehouse and supply chain operations and can work with accuracy and discipline in a quick-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities 1. Stock & Warehouse Operations
- Assist in inward and outward stock activities at the depot.
- Support physical stock counting, verification, and proper storage of products.
- Ensure products are arranged and handled as per defined depot processes.
- Assist in identifying stock discrepancies, damages, and shortages.

2. Order & Dispatch Support
- Support daily order processing, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
- Coordinate with the depot team to ensure timely dispatch of orders.
- Assist in checking article, quantity, barcode, and carton details before dispatch.
- Support loading and unloading activities as required.

System & Documentation
- Update stock and dispatch transactions in ERP/system applications.
- Maintain proper records of inward, outward, transfer, and return transactions.
- Assist in preparing daily stock and dispatch reports.
- Ensure documents such as invoices, delivery challans, and transfer documents are properly maintained.

4. Stock Reconciliation
- Assist in physical stock verification and system stock reconciliation.
- Identify and report mismatches between physical and system stock.
- Support the team in investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.

5. Coordination
- Coordinate with depot staff, sales teams, transporters, and internal departments for smooth operations.
- Follow up on pending dispatches, returns, and stock movements.
- Escalate operational issues to the supervisor for timely resolution.
