Role Description
The Vice President of Financial Accounting is a full-time, in office role based in Chennai. This position is responsible for overseeing the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and reports for the firm and its investment entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.



Day-to-day responsibilities include managing accounting operations, supervising month-end and year-end close processes, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors on financial reporting and regulatory requirements. The role also involves designing and improving financial controls, supporting investment and portfolio reporting, and providing analytical insights to leadership for decision-making and strategic planning. The Vice President will mentor accounting team members, implement best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of finance and reporting processes.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to apply core principles to venture capital and investment structures.
