Responsible for leading HSE operations across road/highway projects, ensuring statutory compliance, safe execution of construction activities, contractor safety, and implementation of HSE systems and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HSE function for road, highway and infrastructure projects.
- Implement HSE plans, risk assessments, JSA/JHA, PTW and safety procedures.
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits and compliance reviews.
- Ensure safety in road construction, excavation, asphalt, bridges, heavy equipment and live-traffic work.
- Implement Traffic Management Plans and work-zone safety.
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and drive corrective actions.
- Manage contractor/subcontractor HSE compliance.
- Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, inductions and emergency drills.
- Monitor HSE KPIs,
MIS and statutory/client compliance.
- Lead and mentor site safety teams and coordinate with clients, consultants and project teams.
Mandatory Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech Any Engineering Discipline
- ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) Mandatory
- Candidates without B.Tech/ADIS will not be considered.
Mandatory Experience
- 15- 20 years of HSE/Safety experience
- Strong and proven experience in Road / Highway / Expressway
- projects Mandatory
- Experience in large infrastructure/EPC projects.
- Solid experience in contractor management, audits, incident investigation and statutory compliance.
Preferred
- National Highway / Expressway experience.
- NEBOSH / IOSH / ISO 45001 certification.
- Experience managing large HSE teams and multiple project locations.
