We are seeking an experienced EPIC Access Governance Consultant to perform a focused assessment of EPIC access governance processes and provide recommendations to improve access control effectiveness, compliance, and audit readiness. The consultant will evaluate current governance practices, identify gaps, and develop actionable recommendations aligned with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess EPIC role, template, and sub-template governance processes.
- Review access ownership models, approval workflows, and periodic access review processes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of access provisioning and governance controls within the EPIC environment.*(Derived from the assessment objective.)*
- Identify gaps related to access appropriateness, segregation of duties, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Analyze current governance practices and recommend improvements to strengthen controls and operational efficiency.
- Document findings, risks, and observations in a structured assessment report.
- Present recommendations and best practices to stakeholder teams.





Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with EPIC Systems security and access governance.
- Experience performing access governance, security assessments, or IAM reviews within healthcare environments.
- Good understanding of:
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Access certification and review processes
- User access provisioning and deprovisioning
- Access ownership and approval workflows
- Audit and compliance requirements
- Experience identifying governance gaps and developing remediation recommendations.
- Ability to engage with business, security, compliance, and application stakeholders.
- Robust documentation, analysis, and presentation skills.
