Job Description
We are looking for an experienced sourcing professional with a minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience exclusively in the Smart Meter / Electricity Meter manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should possess solid technical, commercial, and supply chain expertise to lead end-to-end procurement activities for Single Phase, Three Phase, and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) products while supporting high-volume manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end sourcing and strategic sourcing for Smart Meter manufacturing, including Single Phase Meters, Three Phase Meters,



CT Operated Meters, Communication Modules, and all electronic, mechanical, plastic, and packaging components required for meter production.

2. Possess strong technical knowledge of Smart Meter architecture, SMT and PCBA manufacturing, SMD and THD electronic components, Metering ICs, MCU, Communication Modules (RF, NB-IoT, LTE/4G, PLC), LCDs, CTs, Relays, Current Sensors, Connectors, Passives, PCB, PCBA, Semiconductor Components, Magnetics, and all critical BOM items used in electricity meters.

3. Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships across India and China, maintaining a strong network of manufacturers, authorized distributors, and semiconductor suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, supply continuity, and alternate sourcing.
