About the Role

CP Group India is looking for a competent and proactive Litigation & Compliance skilled to join its in-house Legal team. The role will be responsible for supporting and managing litigation matters, legal compliance, statutory requirements, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel across the organization.

This is an in-house corporate legal role based at our Redhills, Chennai location.

Key Responsibilities

Litigation Management
- Handle and coordinate civil, criminal, commercial, labour, consumer, and other legal matters concerning the organization.
- Coordinate with external advocates and legal counsels for ongoing and new litigation matters.
- Prepare, review, and maintain litigation-related documents, notices, replies, affidavits, petitions, and other legal documentation.
- Attend courts,



tribunals, government offices, and other authorities whenever required.
- Maintain an updated tracker of all litigation cases, hearing dates, case status, legal expenses, and critical developments.
- Provide timely updates to management and relevant internal stakeholders on litigation matters and potential legal risks.
- Assist in developing strategies for dispute resolution, settlement, and effective management of legal cases.

Compliance Management
- Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, licenses, registrations, and statutory requirements relevant to CP Group India's business operations.
- Maintain a comprehensive legal and compliance calendar to track due dates, renewals, filings, and statutory obligations.
