Roles & Responsibilities Sourcing & Procurement
- Develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with overall business objectives and operational requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, qualify, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors based on quality, cost, delivery, capacity, and capability.
- Manage material supplies based on MTO (Make-to-Order) requirements to ensure timely availability of materials while minimizing excess inventory.
- Manage plant inventory levels and maximize the use of VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) to improve material availability and optimize working capital.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, lead times, and commercial agreements to secure the best value and achieve cost savings.
- Manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, supplier commitments, and contract compliance.
- Monitor supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, responsiveness, and service levels,



and drive corrective and continuous improvement actions.
- Analyze procurement spend, prepare procurement performance metrics and MIS reports, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and value optimization.
- Assess supplier and supply-chain risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans to minimize supply disruptions.
- Develop and maintain solid supplier relationships to ensure long-term supply continuity and business support.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Production, Planning, Quality, and Logistics teams to align procurement activities with business requirements.
- Drive supplier development, alternate sourcing, localization, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, processes, quality standards, and commercial requirements.
