Key Responsibilities
- Participating in M&A; engagements and being part of engagements, which are complex and critical.
- Summarizing and analyzing financial/accounting information relating to income statements, balance sheets, profitability data, quality of earnings, quality of net assets etc.
- Analysis of financial results of target companies by reviewing their accounting records and conducting interviews with management
- Analyzing forecast financial information and projections to evaluate the appropriateness of assumptions utilized for the preparation of the model.
- Identifying issues for the purchase price reduction, deal structuring or deal termination
- Preparing/Reviewing excel data books analyzing revenue, margins, costs, assets, liabilities, net working capital trends, valuation model input assumptions, analysis of forecasts etc.
- Assessing the work of junior team members, providing training,



and creating training materials.
- Drafting financial diligence reports for sharing with clients/lenders
- Building relationships with clients across the globe and developing open communication channels
Pre-requisites
- CA/MBA/ CFA with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in financial due diligence, preferably in M&A; transactions.
- Currently working on financial due diligence projects with hands-on experience analysing financial statements.
- Strong proficiency in managing large financial datasets, Excel-based financial modelling, and valuation techniques.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for identifying financial risks and opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with senior stakeholders and clients.
- Experience working in a rapid-paced, high-pressure environment with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
