Position Summary
Pentair is looking for an Engineer with robust experience in centrifugal pump engineering, product configuration BOM finalisation, SAP engineering documentation and CAD design. The role will focus on finalising accurate configuration BOMs for centrifugal pumps, including Vertical Turbine Pumps, Solids Handling Pumps etc. The candidate should have a sound understanding of pump assemblies, material of construction, product variants,
accessories and manufacturing processes. In addition to BOM engineering responsibilities, the candidate will support CAD activities such as 3D modelling, assembly modelling, detailed drawings and design documentation.
The selected candidate will work closely with global engineering counterparts to ensure that pump configurations are technically correct, manufacturable, properly documented and ready for downstream business processes such as quotation, order engineering, procurement and production.
Key Responsibilities
A. Pump Configuration BOM and SAP Engineering Documentation
- Finalize configuration BOMs for centrifugal pump product families such as Vertical Turbine Pumps, Solids Handling Pumps and other pump assemblies.
- Create, review and update engineering BOMs in SAP based on approved product structures, configuration rules, materials, design standards and project requirements.
