We are looking for an experienced Piping Engineer with expertise in piping design and engineering for STP/ETP and water treatment projects. The candidate will be responsible for piping design, technical documentation, layout planning, and coordination with cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Review P&IDs; received from the Process/Proposal team and develop piping design concepts accordingly.
Prepare and review piping layouts, GA drawings, isometrics, and piping support drawings.
Perform piping routing and layout planning considering plant operability, maintenance access, and safety requirements.
Prepare valve schedules, valve datasheets, and piping specifications.
Coordinate with civil, mechanical, instrumentation, and process teams for design inputs and interface requirements.
Review 3D plant models and piping designs prepared by modeling teams or external vendors.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and industry codes.
Prepare and review Bill of Materials (BOM) for piping systems.
Provide technical inputs for equipment layout and piping integration in STP/ETP plants.
Conduct site visits when required to understand installation requirements and resolve design issues.
Knowledge of piping design principles and standards
Experience in AutoCAD / AutoCAD Plant 3D / CADWORX / Pro-Pipe
Ability to interpret P&IDs; and process flow diagrams
Understanding of piping materials, valves, and fittings used in water treatment plants
Proficiency in MS Office
