Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Audit Senior with a solid background in public accounting and specialized expertise in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience auditing property and casualty (P&C;) insurance companies and a solid understanding of U.S. accounting and auditing standards. This role involves managing audit engagements, performing detailed testing, and delivering high-quality results within established timelines.
Qualification and Experience
- Minimum 3+ years in public accounting audit, with a focus on insurance clients.
- CPA or equivalent professional certification

Key Responsibilities




- Lead and execute audit engagements for insurance clients, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and US GAAS.
- Perform detailed testing and analysis of major transaction cycles for P&C; insurance companies, including:

a) Premiums/underwriting b)Claims and claim adjustment expenses (including actuarial estimates) c)Reinsurance contracts/treaties d) Investments e) Policy acquisition costs
- Experience with Audit US-domiciled captive insurance companies (preferred).
- Apply knowledge of Statutory Accounting Principles (NAIC) in audit procedures (preferred).
- Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Communicate audit issues, findings, and recommendations clearly to engagement leadership.

Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and US GAAS (required).
- Familiarity with NAIC Statutory Accounting Principles (preferred)
