Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and maintain large-scale databases on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of databases by monitoring system metrics and implementing optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with development teams to design database schema changes and migrate data between systems using PostgreSQL.
- Develop automated backup plans and disaster recovery procedures to minimize downtime in case of failures.
Job Requirements :
- 8.5-13 years of experience in database administration with expertise in PostgreSQL.
- Robust understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience working with popular cloud providers like AWS or Azure.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing highly available databases for large-scale applications.
