Role & responsibilities
- Daily monitoring, control, operation and maintenance of Utility equipment i.e. Chiller, Air compressor, cooling towers, pumps, RO plant , PW generation plant etc
- Receiving Job cards & allotting work as per priority to technicians.
- Carrying out PM activities of Utility equipment as per annual planner.
- Issue of required materials from Engineering Stores.
- Co-ordination with other plants for all activities related to engineering / utilities.
- Preventive and breakdown Maintenance of plant machines.
- Must have knowledge about Utility equipment
- Initiate, execute and co-ordinate small project activities for plant and utility.
- To ensure that all the activities at the site are carried out as per GEP/SOP.
- To achieve total budgeted repairs / Maintenance cost / Utility cost.
- Planning scheduling & execution of maintenance activity of Utilities.
- Effort to control maintenance cost & energy conservation.
- Effort for reducing machine down time and un-interrupted Utility supply.
Desirable skills:
- Must have basic knowledge of Utility equipment maintenance,
- Should have knowledge of computers basic Knowledge of API maintenance software is preferable
- Valuable communication skills and positive attitude
