Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer with 5 to 8 years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise reporting solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, DAX, and dashboard migration initiatives. This role will be responsible for modernizing reporting platforms, creating impactful dashboards, and delivering actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Lead migration of reports and dashboards from legacy reporting platforms to Power BI.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into reporting and analytics solutions.
- Design scalable data models using Star Schema and Semantic Models.
- Create and optimize DAX measures, calculations, and report performance.
- Develop data transformation logic using Power Query (M).
- Define and validate business KPIs with stakeholders.




- Perform dashboard testing, UAT support, and production deployments.
- Apply visualization best practices to deliver intuitive and user-friendly dashboards.
- Collaborate with business, analytics, and technology teams to ensure successful delivery.

Required Skills
- Strong experience in Power BI Report Development
- Expertise in DAX and performance optimization
- Hands-on experience with Power Query (M)
- Robust knowledge of Data Modeling, Star Schema, and Semantic Models
- Experience in Reporting Modernization and Dashboard Migration
- Understanding of Data Visualization Best Practices
- Experience in Requirements Gathering, KPI Definition, and UAT
- Good SQL and analytical skills

Preferred
- Experience migrating reports from tools such as Tableau, Cognos, Qlik, Business Objects, or SSRS to Power BI.
- Microsoft Power BI Certification is a plus.
